J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 1 semaine. J'ai passé un entretien chez Pier 1 Imports (Waterloo, ON) en oct. 2013
Entretien
I applied online--twice. The second time I applied online, I got a call. The position was to work part-time, as a seasonal associate. However, if I did really well and proved my work ethic I had a chance to continue with the company.
The Manager, was nice (it seemed). She asked me a lot of questions, many pertaining to the way I would conduct myself in a customer service setting. She wasn't laid-back in her approach to these questions. She kept it rigid & formal. However, I remained focus and natural in each questioned I answered, which is what I think got me the position.

Entretien
It was about 30 minutes long. The manager asked me basic questions about myself and the job. He wanted to know my availability and if I were able to unload the truck due to the boxes being heavy.
Simple and transparent process. After applying, was asked to come in to interview in person. Interview was professional and took around 45 minutes. Heard back from hiring manager within a week.
