Applied online and received an email from Hire the next day asking for an initial phone interview. During the phone interview, the Recruiter (monotone) gave a quick company overview and ask pertinent questions pertaining to job description. I believe everything was going great until he asked if there were any questions towards the end. Of course I asked one question and after asking that question the Recruiter responded with a jab which I thought was uncalled for. Responding with “Whatever the job descriptions says is what we need”. Almost all the Recruiters I’ve dealt with have responded positive to my one and only question in a positive matter. Three hours later I received the email stating they (he) have decided to move forward with other candidates.
