- Recruiter Screening: - General questions about experience & why Personal Capital - Sr. Engineer/ Hiring Manager Tech Screening - General iOS related questions - Showed screens and asked how long i would take to build it. - Seemed nice. - Sr. Engineer/ Hiring Manager Second Tech Screening - Asked Any fav things from this year and last year WWDC. - Stressed on Async Await and uses of it. - Asked to build a collection view in their app(i.e. Daily Capital Blog) in the last 10 minutes. - Went beyond time limit, i have to ask him to stop as i have a conflict. - Asked me if i can finish the home work and ship it. - Director Of Mobile Engineering Tech Screening - ebuild the allocations view of their app. You can find this by downloading their app and using the demo mode. The company uses older technology: objective-c, no autolayout or interface builder, no CI/CD and some other dated practices that they are not looking to update. A good fit for this company would be someone who enjoys older technology and processes with a lot of oversight and micro-management.
