Asked me questions, but once entering the shop realized I was asked all the wrong questions. I was told I would basically be doing live tech work, on second day of working asked to diagnose a car for intermittent auto on/off system failure.

My boss asked me question to see how well of a technician I would be if he hired me. How much experience I had. How is my work ethic, do I come in on time or am I late. previous job history.
It takes like 2 weeks to get in then another 2 weeks to hear if you got the job and then if you're lucky you get a job and then what your start date is.

About difficult customers and how you would handle
Standard interview. They tested me in different parts. It was fairly standard. They asked me about changing out different engine parts and oil changes and things like that. I could do all those things.
