First step was a call with a recruiter. I was referred to move forward and given some questions to answer about how I would set up a project or approach a problem. After submitting my responses, I was invited to a video interview with the hiring manager. They seemed to be paying attention to other things while talking to me, and had asked me questions I had already responded to in the answers I had submitted. At the end of my time with the hiring manager, it was suddenly sprung on me that I would be interviewing three other people at the same time. The hiring manager left the video and it was me and three other people in the same call. They were friendly and transparent about the role, but it was a bit of a shock to work through. I heard back about a week later and was offered the position.
