Interviewed with a recruiter and she voluntarily stated that she always gets back to people within a week or two, even if the hiring manager has not had a chance to review my application yet. In this case, she stated the manager also moves quickly. I took their assessment and also emailed the recruiter to thank her for her time, etc. It's almost two months later, my application status is still 'active', but have not heard from the recruiter and she does not reply to emails when I have inquired (very tactfully) about the opening and status. Beware, ghosting is apparently part of their interview process.
