I interview with the recruiter, the hiring manager, and two more managers. During the process, I reached out to the recruiter because they went silent every other week. When they finally let me know that they will not continue the process, I wrote back to the recruiter to ask her if the position was no longer available or I was not selected but I never got an answer. My question's purpose was just to understand and reflect on what could have gone wrong. I was perplexed because I heard good comments from all the people I talked to. I understand they don't have to hire, but since I also invested time and effort in these interviews and quizzes, the least I would have expected is a clear answer about why they decided not to continue. Instead, I got a boilerplate email. I think it is rude and disrespectful. I had a different expectation from this company, but I'm glad I discovered who they really are before wasting more time.
