Offensive and humiliating experience. I applied for the role then received an email from a recruiter inviting me to interview and asking me to list a few times I was free in the next week. After doing this I then received an email asking me to apply again, mostly duplicating questions I had already answered. I reluctantly did this and then again had to list times I was free to interview. The interview took place by video. There were no introductions and no time to ask questions at the end. I was also asked if I'm "okay to do lackey work like monitoring mailboxes" which I found offensive and extremely odd. I am of course happy to muck in and help but this line of questioning was bizarre. At the end of the interview i was told I would be contacted either way as to next steps (a second interview) by the end of the week. After not hearing I followed up with the recruiter twice only to be ghosted both times. I completely understand I may not have been suitable for the role but an email informing me of this would have been nice to receive. It has been a tough period for jobseekers recently and the lack of consideration and "expendability" of applicants throughout the interview process was evident. Happily I found a great job, but I will never apply to work at Paysafe again.
