Entretien
A recruiter called me to get some information regarding my career experience and what I was looking for in a new company; she also shared information regarding the original position that I had applied for. After chatting for a short time, she suggested a different position that she believed was better aligned with my history and future goals. She sent me a link to fill out the other application and we set up a time for a phone interview. The phone interview was pretty standard, but she was fantastic about Paycom from her perspective. A few days later or so, I was informed that they would like me to come in for an in person interview with who would be my direct supervisor and their supervisor. I was provided with all of the needed information to prepare appropriately, where to go and the procedure to follow with security. The interview was comfortable yet professional. It lasted about forty-five minutes covering all of the expected topics, plus some behavioral/situational questions. I was allotted a good amount of time to ask questions of my own, which I greatly appreciated. The next week, I was informed that a job offer was being extended, I signed and started the onboarding process.
The whole process was very straightforward with no ambiguity. Everyone along the way provided ample amounts of information and stuck to their original timelines of when they would provide follow up. It was clear that a great deal of investment is put into finding candidates who are qualified and eager to start a new career path.
