J'ai postulé via la recommandation d'un employé. Le processus a pris 2 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Paycom (Saint Louis, MO) en nov. 2017

      Entretien

A friend recommended that I apply to the TSR role available in my area. I applied and heard from the recruiter within a day or so. We had an interview and then afterward, she set up me up with an in-person interview with the TSR manager of the region for which I had applied. After this interview, a video conference interview was set up for his manager, who manages the TSR managers. The entire process took about two weeks. What is unfortunate is the amount of discrepancies between each interview. The particular role I had applied for had some travel, but the recruiter explained that it was all within the city. Once I had the interview with the manager, that travel radius expanded outward to a range of 3 different states. The following interview expanded even further to 4 other states and included lengthy overnight stays. Once I had these interviews and was waiting on a decision to be made, I determined I would turn down the position should I be offered it, due to the amount of varying information between tiers of management and recruitment. The benefits of this company are extremely poor in comparison to other companies these days, and the company doesn't support family growth. This company seems to be a great fit for young, single individuals who have no family or obligations. The unfortunate part is that I was involved in this process for 2 weeks and would not have wasted my time or the company's time, had the recruiter and managers been on the same page with what was involved with the role, its responsibilities, and its requirements. In the end, I was not offered the role because management explained they noticed my unease about the amount of travel that was involved in this role. It worked out in the end and we respectfully parted ways. If I had to offer advice to the company, I would recommend that the recruiters, managers, and higher up execs get on the same page with role requirements and responsibilities first and foremost. The discrepancies and varying information was a deterrent and looks disorganized and unprofessional from the applicant perspective. I would also ask that the company seriously check into at least becoming competitive with benefits. No paternity leave, poor PTO offering, extremely costly family insurance, among other things are large obstacles from potential candidates.

      Questions d'entretien [1]

      Question 1

The questions asked were the general sorts of interview inquiries: -Tell us about your current role, and how it ties into what you want to do here at Paycom. -Tell me about a time you created difficulty or an issue, and how you resolved it. -Are you okay with traveling? (This question changed with each tier of interviews). -What can you offer the company?

      Entretien

After submitting for the position, I ended up getting contacted by a Paycom recruiter who set up an initial interview with another internal recruiter. From there, I interviewed with the hiring manager and lastly the Regional. Every person I met with was extremely kind and professional and kept me informed of the next steps and process. Overall, a very smooth and timely process that was enjoyable and great.

I was reached out to by a recruiter on linked in for a sales rep position. Had a short 15 minute call about my experience, was scheduled for an interview for the following week. During my interview they asked about sales experience. The manager at the end said that I would be a better fit for the that role they had open. I had a phone interview the next day for that role and then an in person interview the day after. It was your basic "tell me about a time" questions. Overall it was a good experience, even though I didn't not receive an offer.
