J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 1 jour. J'ai passé un entretien chez PayPal en mars 2024
Entretien
I spoke to a gentleman from India who was not part of PayPal. They outsource their first round interview process to an Indian screening company. The gentleman was polite, but really didn't have a good grasp of Android development himself. He kept asking me outdated/legacy technology questions which have nothing to do with Android in 2024. He didn't ask anything about Kotlin, Coroutines, Jetpack Compose, MVVM/MVI architecture. Instead, he asked about RecyclerView & ViewHolder issues, Fragment/Activity lifecycle, and why it's bad to run networking code inside of an activity. He didn't even ask ViewModel nor LiveData questions.
I felt that I at least passed 85% of the questions, but for some reason he told PayPal that I didn't pass. I feel like I wasted my time with this interviewer, because he didn't give me feedback on any of the questions, and probably wasn't a professional Android engineer himself...
