I had an informal interview with a Team Lead prior to coming to the office for the on-site interview. I felt that this informal interview was helpful as it helped me understand more about the role that the team was looking for, and whether my expertises would fit that role or not. When I was interested in the open position, I was scheduled for an on-site interview in the following week. I met up with the whole team, and went through about an hour of interviewing. I didn't think the interview was difficult, and actually enjoyed answering the questions with my own experiences and examples. As veteran test engineers, we all had experienced through some common scenarios during testing; the scenarios were amusing when we recalled the memory now, but definitely not back then. I had nothing but positive things coming out of the interview.
I wanted to say that Phill did a great job as a recruiter because he was very responsive, and even answered my questions in the off hours. My entire process only took 1 week. At the time, I actually had a job offer from another company; however, due to the overall positive experience with PayIt, I knew PayIt would be the place I wanted to work for.
