Entretien
There was an initial pre-screen call with basic questions (criminal background, do you drive, why did you become a nurse). They provided info on the job.
Next was a virtual interview. They asked about nursing experience. They asked what your nursing goals are (based on CNO's QA learning plan). Some scenario based questions - how to handle family that is not happy with new dr's orders; how to handle upset patient; what do you do if your client has a fall.
It was pretty laid back, interviewer was kind.

The process was smooth and professional. I had a phone screening followed by an in-person interview at Humber River Clinic. The interviewer was respectful and explained the role, pay, and orientation clearly.
They asked about my nursing background, wound care, IV therapy, communication with families, and how I manage multiple patients. Questions also included handling medication errors and using SBAR communication.
Overall, it was a friendly and fair interview. They were focused on patient safety, teamwork, and clinical confidence. Great experience for nurses looking to start community or clinic work.

Very straight forward in asking the strength, weaknesses, scenario based examples, procedures that are proficient to deliver etc. There was also questions around, why to choose home care and not hospital based nursing service.
