The job ad and the interviewer were very transparent. The interview took about 20 minutes. It was pretty straightforward: there were a few questions about my experience and then a few more about what motivated me. Although I didn't get an offer, the interviewer gave me the chance to get feedback from the interview. I appreciated that as most interviewers don't give feedback.

Extremely vague about what the expectations for this were. They sent a technical problem which is essentially an essay of the problem they're facing with a bunch of questions on it and things to think through. I wrote out my answers, but somehow there was some confusion on the first part. It seemed like I was expected to have done a deep dive on the code base. Sorry, but I have a full-time job. I don't have time to spend 3 days unpaid doing a deep dive on your code base. I thought this would end up being a discussion, as I was told there would be no wrong answers, but what happened more was he was looking for me to say the correct keywords to move forward.
