First interview was with a recruiter, second interview with a hiring manager, third interview with another hiring manager. It was a straightforward process. They were all Zoom interviews with the camera on.

They asked me about myself and a few other standard behavioral questions. Interviewers were very confusing. Started out by saying how impressed they were with me, but then seemed to disengage. They were a little cold and undiscerning. Then at the end of the interview they asked if I had other offers and were glad to hear that I was still open to opportunities. Then after the interview they gave me a very cold follow up email (like a 5 word reply to my paragraph). So I let it go and accepted another position, but al they actually ended up coming back to me ready to make an offer. So overall it was a fine interview but they definitely need to train their interviewers better if they want to actually get top talent to go through the full process because if they had exercised a little bit more warmth in their communications then I probably would’ve taken the offer.

Had three telephonic interviews each lasting 30-45 minutes. Easy networking concepts based questions in first interview. ARP, STP, DNS and TCP questions. Second interview had questions that required some thinking. Narrated network topology with IP addresses and other things and asked question on it. CCNA stuff. I expected an on-site interview next but got an email stating another telephonic round. Third round was just one technical question. That too on my project I had put in resume. The rest all were HR questions like what time are you available and graduation date. I expected either they might call me onsite next or hire me since the answers I gave were correct. However got a call after a week saying that they had hired another person. Was disappointed. And they pay $20 per hour to interns.
