Submitted my resume and received a quick response, followed by a denial within six hours of submission. When I inquired about the reason, I was told it was due to relocation preferences, even though the job description listed the position as remote.

I went in to the interview fully prepared and had a nice discussion regarding my background, followed by a test. After the test, I was told that they would review everything and let me know about the next steps. A few months later, I am still waiting to hear back. I assume I did not get the position, of course, but I have not received any formal notification at all as to my status.
