I had a rather informal discussion with the office manager about my previous work experience, and how my then recent background in academic research would work well in the role. Prior to the interview, I had been told that there was a short research task to complete but I was never asked to do it.

I responded to an internet job ad. I got a call from the manager to attend an interview. It was a panel interview with the manager and the 2 deputy managers. I was asked about finance and specifically pension funds and hedge funds.
