interviewed with 3 different personnel. All being much older than I. I myself was very qualified and fit the position extremely well. They asked typical interview questions. However I never had the vibe that they legitimately cared. I FEEL this was due to my age. no one at the company was a "millennial" age. the Job i was interviewed was very simple for anyone with a technical background and I was low balled so hard for a position that would require 50+ hour work weeks and 50% travel on salary. 45k/yr When I have over 4 years of experience in the field. They said that the salary I was asking for would be that of a someone with a masters in engineering with experience ($65k). Again this position required much travel and I was very well qualified for the position. A masters degree would not effect my ability to repair these components as it's not a legitimate engineering position.. After about the first 20 minutes of this 2 hour interview I had the feeling it was a waste of time. Basically I had the feeling that this company only interviewed me just to show their HR that they interviewed someone young. I don't believe they ever intended on offering me the position and I would deny it if offered at this point.
