A recruiter approached me and set up a phone interview with the hiring manager. The manager asked mostly technical questions about my experiences. On-site was a couple weeks later and it lasted a whole day, from 8am to almost 5 pm. It started with a technical presentation, about 1 hour in total. Then I talked to a number of interviewers one by one. The hiring manager first, and some senior level engineers/scientists in the group, with the HR manager the last. ALL BEHAVIORAL QUESTIONS except for the hiring manager.

The interview was a mix of behavioral and technical questions. Some questions were really unexpected and difficult to answer but the interviewers were patient and even helped guide through some questions
