I got a call from the recruiter after applying for the role online. I was later setup with a 1:1 video call from the hiring manager. We had a pretty good conversation over the phone and time extended beyond the time frame (usually a good sign). The trial went cold and I reached back out with the recruiter. I was informed that they are still interviewing and didn't hear back for a couple of weeks. Later I find out the hiring manager was OOO on vacation and just came back. After meeting with the hiring manager over another video call it seemed like things had changed from what they were described in the job description to what they were expecting.

Formal yet friendly. Mostly a conversation regarding work experience. Experience at bigger banks a plus. Provided company background and highlighted benefits of working for a credit union. Discuss Company growth objectives and inquired about my career aspirations.
