3 rounds Recruiter call Technical interview Present an already done penetration test report to the Director and fellow security consultant. I made it to the final round. The expectations/ objectives of the pen test presentation were not clear going into the interview. Didn’t get a great feeling about the leadership. Crashed and burned during the presentation. Was offered a second chance to present a report that Ive written, but declined. Didn’t feel like the right environment.

Amazing experience. Three technical rounds including ctf challenge. One HR round. Be sure with the technical details mentioned in your CV. Be clear and confident. If you don’t know the answer don’t hesitate to let them know, still give it a try, take a discussion and get to the point.

The interview process has multiple stages and is standard for a Security Consultant role. You should expect a technical assessment as well. The process was a great experience at Optiv.
