I recently interviewed with OpsTree Solutions for a Data Engineer role. The first round was conducted by a Data Engineer and lasted for about one hour. The questions were primarily focused on AWS and Azure cloud services, including AWS Glue, Lambda, and RDS, along with technical questions from Python, PySpark, and SQL.
Although I received positive feedback from HR after the interview, I was informed that the client did not shortlist my profile for the next round. This was disappointing, as I had put significant effort into the preparation and interview process. I felt that my time and effort were not valued, and it left a negative impression of the overall process.
I also requested to be considered for any internal openings within OpsTree's data engineering team, but this was declined without any further discussion. Overall, I had a poor experience and would have appreciated a more transparent and respectful approach to candidate handling.
