Received call from HR, informed that there will be 2 rounds. The first round was basic into and details. Second was with VP which went well. When it came to feedback for the second round which was the final round. The very next day HR said the position is on hold. If the position is on hold then why were the interview done. Even this was not communicated by HR, i was informed when i followed up.
This is a really a situation where the-needs and clarity of the organisation is displayed that they are themselves not sure of position or this is a plot to keep candidates on hold because they had a candidate who could join early and if he ditches there offer they comeback with an offer.
Really this is not a professional behaviour of a firm intending to grow in pandemic time.
If you don’t trust your to be employee, how could they trust you when they join. Trust is a two way process they should inform the reason by themselves rather hiding in the closet
