I attended an on-site career fair. These events are often advertised on the "Omnicare Careers" Facebook page. They prefer that you apply online for a job prior to attending but I wanted to get a better feel for what each job was first. So when they asked what position I was interviewing for, I was a bit surprised but said I was interested in the Compliance role since it pays more and is a call center type of job, but since I wanted part-time, I told them I would consider all opportunities.
First, I talked with a recruiter who asked general questions about my background, interest and availability. This only took about 15 minutes. Then I met with a manager who asked more in-depth about my background and told me a lot about the various roles the pharmacy. She was very friendly and even explained a bit of her background and reasons for staying there. This also was only about 20-30 minutes. Next, I met with a person who worked in the call center area who asked very similar questions about my reasons for wanting the job and my experience. She showed me the area and said that they would be making decisions in the next couple weeks.
I emailed the manager to thank them for the chance to interview. She said they would be contacting me soon. When I hadn't heard back after 2 or 3 weeks, I emailed and found out they had not contacted me because I had never applied online. Also they said they only had "back end" pharmacy picking technician roles available (lower pay rate) but wouldn't explain why they had a posting for Compliance still open. I applied online for the Picking Technician and they offered the role. If I hadn't followed up with them, I wouldn't have been contacted.

Phone interview then in-person interview with the manager. Usually the whole process takes two weeks and then once that finishes they will send an email of acceptance and a offer letter

It was short and sweet. The interviewers were not dressed in suits pretty casual . I got the offer shortly after the interview. I'm going to hit thirty words thirty words thirty words
Interview process was very professional and informative . I met two of the managers and got a walkthrough of the facility. I asked questions and they were answered, the interviewer was so nice.
