There were about 5 interview stages, but the take home was very robust and the recruiter took several weeks to reach out to me. Overall had an okay experience, but I think definitely could have improved.

I had an interview with a recruiter, the hiring manager and then was asked to complete a take home assignment and present it back to a group of about 7 people. They asked me to spend 3 hours prepping for the presentation and then present to the group. I was a bit hesitant considering that the take home assignment was solving a current need of the business and they added a note that all content and ideas presented would be owned by the company so it felt a bit like free consulting. I felt like the interviews all went well. They were super engaged, asked questions, etc but after my presentation, I received a generic automatic email (from a no-reply greenhouse email) saying they were moving forward with other candidates. After the amount of time I spent investing in this position, the least I deserved was a personal email from either the recruiter or the hiring manager. I am actually shocked that they boast about good culture, but treat applicants the way that they do. Based off other reviews, I am not the first to be treated this way. Lastly, the position was posted as an associate/entry level role, but the questions I was being asked were much more complex and similar to questions I was asked in senior product roles I’ve applied to. There is a very good chance that an entry level person would not be able to answer some of the questions that were being asked and I really think it should not be posted as entry level as that would be very discouraging for someone trying to enter the workplace.
