J'ai postulé en ligne. J'ai passé un entretien chez Omada (Copenhague, Hovedstaden)
Entretien
The interview process was comfortable and fast. Mainly 2 rounds, coding test, and code analysis rounds. Just discussed the general approach to the problem and solution. Then also discussed how the team and product. The coding test had backend and frontend-related questions.
J'ai postulé en ligne. J'ai passé un entretien chez Omada (Varsovie, Mazovie) en mars 2020
Entretien
Worst interview experience I had in my entire career so far (5 years).
TLDR: They did some IQ, basic math, psychology tests, then after 4 meetings a manager who was always late starts asking me questions that I already answered in my previous meetings that he was late to and concludes that I am not a good fit.
The whole interview was held entirely online as this was in April 2020.
After basic HR phone calls I got invited to do some sort of IQ and numerical/logical comprehension test which is already ridiculous.
Then they told me to do a personality test where results were reviewed later on a call with an actual psychologist and at this point I already feel like I'm in kindergarten.
I also had a call where we had a technical assessment but because I don't remember it I believe it was quite normal.
I passed all the tests because they invited me to a fourth call where we were just talking with the manager of the team and all of the previous interviewers.
Important thing to note down is that this manager was always late to my previous meeting, but on the last call he started asking me about my experience in general, basically the same questions that I answered already in my previous meetings that he arrived late to.
Somehow after that last call they concluded that I am not the best candidate.
Omada management, please read on some papers instead of practicing witchcraft:
"It is concluded that considerable caution needs to be exercised in citing such correlations for test validation purposes." [link removed]
"There remains great uncertainty about the interpretation of IQ-job performance correlations and great caution needs to be exercised in using them as a basis for the validity of IQ tests and associated concepts." [link removed]
