J'ai postulé via la recommandation d'un employé. Le processus a pris 2 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Okta (San Francisco, CA) en mai 2016

I had two phone screens. One was with a manager, one was with a potential colleague. The phone screen led to an on-site.
The on-site was pretty random. I felt like I was having beers or hanging out with friends. No technical questions. Very conversational 30 minute chat.
The thing you have to do is sell them on the skillset. They will not ask you directly. Don't go along with the friendly talk. That's not what they are looking for. They want you to tell them what skills you have.
Also, some of the interviewers are clearly unprepared and not skilled at interviewing while others are very fine-tuned into how things should go.
The bottom line is that everyone is really nice and cool, but make sure you go in there with a strong technical selling point....Because that's what they want.

It was good! I had a phone interview with them and it lasted about 25 minutes. The person interviewing me was really nice and helpful. They got back to me with a decision about a couple days after I had my first interview which was really nice.

- Screen Call with Recruiter
- Call with Hiring Manager
- Onsite interviews with various members from different teams
Interaction with everyone during the process was really positive but where things turned for the bad was after the process was completed. I was advised by the recruiter that the company wanted to proceed with me for the role and requested references which were provided which were were conducted with positive feedback provided. But after this was done and awaiting confirmation of contract offer, things went silent. The reason I was given after many attempts for an update with the recruiter was that the process for hiring for the role was delayed. But after two months of being given excuses of delays, they ended up recruiting someone else for the role who did not have the experience or skills outlined in the requirements as per the Job Description and discussed with the team for the role. It was very obvious that I was mislead and used as a "plan B" option which was very unprofessional and soured my experience with the company in the end. A very disappointing ending to what I perceived as a great company with great people and solutions to offer the market.
