Octopus Energy presents a promising job posting with good benefits, yet its lack of an HR department raises concerns about potential conflicts of interest, especially considering comments from other reviews on the preferential treatment between specific team members and managers. Additionally, my experience with the phone interview process was disappointing, as the interviewer failed to call initially and the rescheduled interview was cancelled 3 minutes before the time slot. Now they will not proceed with my application despite compromising my first interview. This disregard for candidates' time and a disposable treatment of applicants disgusts me. Extremely relieved I did not give my time and hard work to yet another shortsighted and inconsiderate energy company.
