I have been wanting to work at Orbis since years ago, it had basically been my dream. Everything I wanted for my career and organization I wanted to work with was Orbis. Cringe, yes, but these are words from my soul. I applied online, reached out to the manager and a third party recruiter scheduled a time to talk with me the next day. I was asked a ton of behavioral questions such as "tell me a time you did x" and my expertise with certain software. I heard back one business day later and got an interview with the hiring manager. The call with the hiring manager was not as exciting as it was with the recruiter - I couldn't put my finger on it, but it just felt off. I could tell that this person had no interest doing this. It got super awkward when I asked why the position opened, I was told "the person just left, they just left." 🚩... I wanted to know who they're seeking for this position and how I can come in and help out and make an impact immediately - I got cold responses that were read off the job description. Honestly, as the manager of this position, shouldn't you know it well...? Anyway, that ended, I sent my thank you notes and one week later still didn't hear back, followed up with the recruiter, saw the job get reposted (?) but still no response for me. Completely unprofessional!!!! I am so disappointed with this experience, from somewhere I really wanted to work at. How disgusting.

TLDR; Ghosted I had a recruiter screening in early December. Heard nothing until beginning of January. Completed the hiring manager interview and was told I was being moved onto the next round. After a few follow ups, I was told my resume was being reviewed by the next interviewer. Then I was ghosted.
