Entretien
I applied online through Indeed and was contacted within a day or two by an HR representative who phone screened me and then set up an onsite interview. The phone screen was mainly about personality and my resume. The onsite interview with a developer went into more technical detail of my resume and he had me do a coding exercise on the whiteboard. I thought the developer was nice and the interview was fair even though I didn't get an offer. My main source of discontent is that I received absolutely no follow-up on my interview. Considering I took the time to go down to the office on a bad weather day, I would have liked to have known either way. Emails to the HR person and the developer were not answered. I found this incredibly unprofessional particularly after the developer pulled the old "I think you'll be a great fit" line. I also found the HR person a little rude and she called me about five times in one day once and whenever she sent an email. At the interview itself, the door to the office is locked and there wasn't anyone at the front desk, so I awkwardly stood in the hall for ten minutes until someone went out to go to the bathroom and let me in. This place was weird.
