The CEO is a distrustful person. Don't believe anything the CEO is saying or promising - benefits, work conditions, etc. The CEO is a con and will find the way to screw you over. He runs that joke of a company like a Chinese sweat shop.

Stop trolling.. no attoney works or has EVER had to work 6 days a week here. It's sad Glassdoor lets this kind of crap happen. I now have to peel away from my work to answer these silly comments from trolls. You say you've had an interview but you run your mouth as if you know everything about this place and the owner. I dont know what your obsession with the CEO is, that you have go out of your way to create account after account to leave these nasty comments. It's ok you'll find another job someday. It's not the end of the world pal. Don't be so sour. Try meditation.. it does wonders for your mood.

I received an email inviting me for a preliminary Skype interview for this senior position, with several questions - which I answered. I received a few followups with additional questions, which I answered. When the Skype interview finally happened, they were asking me the same questions! Clearly, the various team members don't communicate very well. Then during the interview, I had a hard time getting straight answers to simple questions. I had to repeat my question and finally say something like, "I appreciate that but it doesn't answer my question" before I'd get a straight answer. They also kept talking about having a lot of work to do and wanting to know how many hours I could dedicate, despite the fact that I had applied for a full-time, salaried position. I was invited for a second, interview in-person. However, I withdrew my application immediately upon discovering that they require working 6 days per week (Sunday to Friday) and only offer 1 week of vacation and 5 sick days for the entire year. Apparently, the owner thinks he is still in Asia (where he's from), where this type of thing is acceptable.

There are two sides to every story. I wasn't the one who interviewed you, nor am I the company owner but I do remember this interview. Despite the reviews there aren't actually that many people coming and going and I remember everyone. Firstly, I believe the Skype interview was your idea and you had chosen to do your interview from a busy Starbucks with a horrible internet connection. That is not very professional. It's no wonder there was communication trouble. Secondly, EVERY ATTORNEY that has worked here has NEVER been made to work 6 days a week. That is just silly.. A question doesn't mean people are forcing you to do it.. You can? GREAT.. You can't, that is also fine.. we just need to know because we are a super busy start up and want to gauge how driven someone is.. It doesnt mean we actually want you to work 6 days a week.. Think of it as a filter to screen out less driven and unmotivated people.. which seems to have worked perfectly on you.lol
