Several rounds and each one was timely and asked normal questions. The people were fine to talk to. I was also an employee referral so I felt pretty good about getting the job but then they had me sign an NDA and do 10+ hours of unpaid work for them and sent me a generic rejection. I’ve never had a company ask me to do unpaid work for them before a job starting, sign an NDA so I can’t actually talk about it and then not hire me.

This was the strangest interview I’ve ever had. I made it to round four - first a recruiter call, then a team member call, followed by a take home assessment, and finally, an on site interview. As I spoke with each team member, it became clear that the team was very junior. That alone isn’t necessarily a bad thing, but there was a noticeable lack of direction and structure throughout the process. My interview was rescheduled multiple times at the last minute, which was already frustrating. Then, once I arrived for the on site, the second half of the interview was canceled while I was already there. It was such an uncomfortable and disheartening experience. I genuinely hope they take steps to improve their candidate experience practices, it’s incredibly disrespectful to people’s time and effort. Also, my experience seemed to align with what others have said about interviewing for marketing roles there, it wasn’t just a one off.
