Interview process consisted of first written coding round, followed by two rounds of technical discussions. Written coding round:- Contained 5 questions, one question was related to Java basics, two questions from android, and remaining two were coding questions, one coding question was simple string one and another related to array. First round of technical interview:- They started with my project discussion and then later moved to a) How to ensure security in android applications? b) They asked about Hashmap implementation in Java. c) They asked about builder design pattern d) They asked about Threads in Java and Main Thread in android. e) They asked to code one question. Second round of technical interview:- a) They asked about SharedViewModel. b) They asked about implementing a case where Factory + Builder both design patterns are used. c) They asked about flows. SharedFlow vs StateFlow. Collect vs CollectLatest d) They asked about Jetpack compose. Recomposition, side Effect, LazyList, LazyListState. LazyList implementation. e) They asked about clean architecture.

It was a virtual interview and I was reach out by a recruitment firm. The interview went quite well, the interviewer was nice and polite, at the end he said that he was really impressed, although I was rejected. I didn’t understand why, what a waste of time!
