I had two job interviews for different positions with this company, and both went horribly. The first interview was with a hiring manager for an Operations Support position. The manager didn’t show up after I waited for 45 minutes and didn’t bother sending me an email to cancel. This job was referred to me by a recruiting agency, so I reached out to them for an explanation. They said the manager had canceled and that a notification was sent (which was not the case; they were obviously lying) and went ahead to reschedule another interview.
The second time, the manager video-called me from her phone, seemingly from a location unknown, and didn’t seem to care about the interview. She told me I would receive an email within a week if they decided to move forward, but I haven’t heard from her since; she ghosted me completely.
The second interview was for an internship. It went well, but HR intervened to prohibit the manager from contacting me. After a month, I received an automated rejection.
In the end, the people hired for these positions, as well as for other roles I applied for afterward, didn’t even seem to have the background or skills required for the jobs. Basically, it's a NEPOTISME-driven company in the way it conducts business in Canada overall, not just in Montreal.
