Pretty straight-forward for a scientific job. Met with upper management, met with colleagues, presented previous scientific research, lunch, etc. The HR rep was the most annoying since the only questions they can ask are the behavior related questions and at the end of the day, their opinion in the hiring of an individual is not considered.

The interview process was very positive, but I was informed by HR that the position was no longer being filled due to business needs, even after my references were contacted. It was disappointing given how far along the process had progressed
