I met a recruiter at a job fair and exchanged some basic information. We arranged for an interview a few weeks later. It was a pretty basic interview. It consisted of just a few questions about my background, resume, and qualifications. Be aware that the interview will be different in different cities. Each financial group most likely has their own type of interview. Mine wasn't very intense.

There were four or five interviews, if you count the meeting with my future mentor. There were also a few personality assessments. Lots of paperwork. The finance industry is tightly regulated.
