Applied and a few days later received a call from the hiring manager. Did a quick telephone interview with her, after which she invited me for an in person interview for the next day. Met with her at Northside Urgent Care and had an excellent interview, during which she made clear that she wanted to hire me. She said that she was passj g along the information to the recruiter that day, and that I should receive a call and offer from the recruiter very soon. The recruiter called me the next day and said that the hiring manager wanted to move forward with me as the final candidate and then asked me some very obscure questions regarding my current employer and stated that she would call me back "very shortly". Never heard back from her, went online to check my application status and saw "Not Moving Forward". Very strange and completely unprofessional on the recruiter's end.

Interviewing internally for a promotion was actually the most kind and respectful process. Internally to Hr, when you interview, usually you meet multiple managers in one sitting so you can be considered for multiple positions at once.
