Nordstrom is a very friendly company, and the interviews, whether by phone or in person, were relaxed.
This doesn't mean you shouldn't be prepared - considerable research should be done for any interview.
The questions were what I would expect, about my previous experience and asking me for examples of work that might match the way that the person in the role would be expected to operate.
Nordstrom has a very particular culture - which I greatly admire - but, make sure you understand it and, if it isn't for you, don't waste their time. Try reading "The Nordstrom Way".
All aspects of my interview experience with Nordstrom were extremely positive, with one minor exception. Follow up afterwards took very long. However, I did hear back from HR in the end, just not as quickly as I would have liked.
Based on my interview experience, I'd thoroughly recommend Nordstrom as a place to work, even though I didn't get an offer on this occassion.
