Entretien
At first, the interview process started great with a quick response on a resume submission on the Nextdoor site that accompanied an internal referral. Initial phone screen with recruiter followed by a phone screen with the hiring manager. Both calls went (I thought) pretty well and I was advised by both recruiter and the hiring manager that I would hear next steps early the following week. This is when the process went sideways as there was not only no follow-up but I was ghosted by the recruiter on 2 follow-up emails checking in for an update. Completely unprofessional and it gives me a bad impression of at least the recruiting team/leadership at Nextdoor for this to transpire. The initial conversations were very positive and the recruiter on the role seemed very authentic. What transpired afterwards was bizarre and unfortunate.
