I was approached via LinkedIn even though I have no profile build out on LinkedIn. I sent my resume to a business email to make sure it was legitimate request. I went through a 15 minutes phone screen with a very green recruiter. I was asked to participate in writing a case study as a next step. Then interview with manager and panel with future colleagues.
The people there looked really sad and when I asked about why the role was open I was told it was because the person they had left. I followed up to ask why the person left and the backtracked saying no one had left, they have a low turn over este but they have more work than they do workers and they need an addition to the team as the current employees feel overworked. They had 13 postings on their website for all sorts of digital roles and they really want you to write case studies for free, you know like comp work, before the hiring manager will even consider your resume.

Entretien
The interviewer did not bother to read my resume, which states in both the executive summary and education experience that I have an anticipated graduation date of Spring 2018. Despite being a nontraditional student with 15 years of marketing experience, including managing sales in excess of $12 million and founding a startup, I was told "We make no exceptions about requiring a 4 year degree." Disappointing that this company is so narrow in its interview process that it does not consider experience or potential contribution. Instead, it disqualifies candidates with an impressive resume because of one year of college. Not a company culture I would consider working for in the future.
