Was a standard interview process, though it did include a series of tests I had not seen in previous newsrooms. All said it was straight-forward and thorough. Applicants won't be all that surprised by the interview.

The process was extremely easy! I applied on Indeed and heard back less than a week later. From there I was contacted directly from their direct talent scout for an interview. I was able to select my own timeslot.

I was asked about experience with productions, projects that I left the proudest of, and my workstyle personality.
First interview was a phone interview with a Human Resources person part of the parent company, EW Scripps. Then I had two separate video interviews. Finally I had an in person interview where I met with two other individuals.
