J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 4 mois. J'ai passé un entretien chez NewBold Technologies

      Entretien

Process was over 3 months long. I was urged to apply for a specific role quickly because they needed someone "ASAP". Applied the same day and waited a month for any word back. On the application salary requirements is a mandatory field that only allows for numbers. This is a very antiquated way of getting someone at a much lower rate than they have in the budget for the role. Salary range for the role was not listed anywhere. The first and really only question asked when they finally called was about salary requirements and they would not say the range budgeted for this role. A few more weeks passed and they finally called to schedule an in-person interview but not with the person I would be working for because they were too busy. In-person interview was very straightforward and with 2 people. Role applied for would be mostly remote and nights because of the needs of the role but also the manager of that role is mostly remote. Next interview was virtual because both managers work remote but also included HR in this interview (very strange to have HR in the actual interview not just coordinating it). Both interviews went well. I waited over a month and no contact whatsoever even though I sent thank you follow-up letters. When I finally did hear back, they simply asked if I was interested in a new role without giving any details of what the role would entail other than the title. This role was a completely different role than what I had applied and interviewed for and was specifically what we had discussed in both interviews that I would not want to do. As an incentive to consider this role, they suddenly were willing to discuss salary and said a base salary number or greater that they would be able to pay. This new role also would not be eligible for remote work and the reason given was that the president finds office work creates camaraderie although the other people and role I had applied for were all remote. They wanted me to come in person for the interview for this role. Another week passed and finally, they scheduled an interview for this new role. Again it was a virtual interview, no explanation given, and did not ask for my availability they just sent a calendar invite. This was a meeting with one of the managers from the last virtual interview and HR again. This was less of an interview and more of them trying to convince me to be interested in this role that they both knew from previous conversations that I was not very interested in. Things that stuck out: they had not hired anyone in this role in over 3 years, had not hired anyone under this manager ever, and were now "urgently" bringing someone on essentially because their revenue growth goals originally made based on acquisition attempts would now going to have to be met through this role. The manager and all people in this role worked remote but this new role for some reason would not be eligible to work remote. Told "we are not a work from home company" yet everyone else on the team is remote. Also, this role would require a significant amount of travel that was not part of any previous conversation. They said they had the offer ready at the end of the conversation but then took 3 more days to send it. They wanted to discuss the offer on the phone before actually sending it, essentially trying to gauge my response without making the effort of actually making the offer. When they did finally send the offer, it was significantly less than the lowest base salary they had told me this role would offer when they were trying to convince me to be interested. I had to follow up for full offer info on benefits, vacation time, etc and it still was not complete when they replied. Then within 24 business hours, they were calling and emailing me to reply when it had taken them all this time to finally even make the offer and not for the type of job I had applied for at all. So many red flags on top of the other company reviews here on Glassdoor.

      Question 1

Mostly just asked about my experience and since it is extensive there weren't many stereotypical questions needed to understand my ability to do the job(s).
