Submitted resume and was contacted the next day (Friday). Scheduled an interview for Monday. I was told I would meet with 4 people so I figured 2 hours. Reception was professional.
Met with Recruiter first and she was helpful and professional. Then met with the boss of that position, followed by 4 other people from related positions. One person asked technical questions about Javascript, Actionscript, PHP, JSON, XML, cross browser issues, etc. The other interviewers asked about my experience managing projects and in emerging markets like mobile, tablet. "How did you see this project through to its finish? What obstacles did you encounter?" A couple behavioral questions.
My only gripe was that I met with 6 people instead of 4 so I was late to return to work. They asked many questions about my personality, I think to see if I'd be 'cool' to work with.
Returned Thursday to meet with 2 senior directors. Their questions were really basic and I think they just wanted to confirm I wasn't a dud. They asked things like "how do you prioritize work" or "how do you tell a client if something will be late?"
Offered position next day but my company promoted me that day and matched the offer so I had to decline. While the position seemed good, I didn't get the sense that the corporate environment was better than where I was, in terms of teamwork, number of peers, morale, etc.
Overall, positive, straightforward process.
