I initially went in just to find out what it would be like to work as a financial services representative as part of my career change strategy. As the meeting went on, it turned out to be more of an interview, with the agent asking me to apply for the position because he thought I would be a good fit with the company. It seemed like the people in the office were very friendly and supportive of each other. I was impressed when I saw agents helping each other even though only the primary agent would receive commissions. Thus it appears that they really just want to invest in quality people and build them up to be successful. Also, it was nice to know that they are willing to give you a partial salary in your first three years to help you get on your feet during the toughest part of your career, unlike some other companies who pay a minimum salary during training and then throw you to the wolves.
