Was contacted on LinkedIn by hiring manager and invited to onsite interview with hiring manager and another technical person. The feeling after the interview was that it didn't went either too bad or too well but I was pretty sure I didn't want (or expected to be offered) the position. In regards to financial remuneration I remember asking for a bit more than what I currently earned at that time and felt it was a bit over their budget. Afterwards. talking with friends and people from the IT community I found out that they invited a lot of sysadmins which I interpreted as them being unprofessional and evaluating the market. I was told ~1 month later I did not get the position.
