After completing a short form on their website, a recruiter reached out to ask for my full resume within a week. A week later, the recruiter setup a phone interview where she asked questions about my experience as well as talked to me more about the position. A few red flags came up in this discussion as the recruiter knew very little about the position, the skills/experience needed, and the team the contractor would be working for. We set up a second remote interview the following week with the team.
After emailing to confirm the details, we had set a date and time, I stopped receiving a response from the recruiter. I hoped the recruiter was just busy managing multiple positions so I made an excuse to skip work and waited for a call or email on the day we had set for the interview. As expected, the second interview never came. It was by far the most unprofessional experience I've had.
