They had one technical round and maybe more rounds. The interview questions were around Java 17, Kafka, Design patterns, Spring boot, Redis, LRU cache and one leetcode question. I answered as much as I could.

Question 1
They asked the Leetcode 56 Merge intervals question (medium difficulty) and asked me to solve within 15 minutes. Then proceeded by asking the technical questions like how Java 17 improved performance, what does Zookeeper do in Kafka, what if Kafka message broker goes down, how you used Factory design pattern in application, how to measure performance in spring boot application, what does @springbootapplication contain, what is difference between @configuration and @component, have you used redis, what is LRU cache and explain with example
Smooth interview process. First round was like a quiz but other rounds were good. The HR was asking way too many details before rolling out offer. Overall from tech point of view it was okay
The interview went fairly well overall. Most of the questions focused heavily on Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA). There were also discussions related to DevOps tools, particularly Azure and AWS. Additionally, the interviewer intensely questioned the content mentioned in my CV, diving deep into each listed skill and project.
