Was called by HR and less than a week later was in the door. Interviewed with Dispatch Manager and another supervisor level dispatcher. Most questions were straight off a interview sheet with standard questions. "Give me a strength and weakness, how would your old boss review those, etc." Interviewed for about an hour and was given a tour of facility. Met again with HR at the end. Actually very good professional interview.

I was initially interested by the enthusiasm of the recruiter during the phone screen, however things changed when I interviewed with the actual department leadership. It was a panel interview conducted via Zoom. No one appeared excited about the position, looking down and playing with their fingers and appearing disinterested. The questions that they offered were basic STAR format questions, so nothing outstanding. The tone of the interview was not warm and engaging which was a big disappointment after the positive phone interview.
