Very poor experience and abysmal communication. I interviewed with two people at the company, then was given a verbal offer. I was then invited to fly out to visit the office I’d be relocating to, and after sending the hiring manager my availability as requested, I was completely ghosted. I followed up again, and was told that the role had been “put on pause” despite it still being visible on their jobs page. To anyone reading this: don’t make someone an offer then rescind it without giving a valid reason. Much less, don’t ever stop communicating with your candidates just because things change. Be honest and transparent. Overall, I’m glad I didn’t get an offer because their hasty hiring decision and amateur communication showed a high degree of immaturity and inexperience despite their “leadership” team being very seasoned.
