National Securities reached out to me about a "shadowing day" during normal school times. The day was supposed to start at 7:30 in downtown Chicago which was a bit early for me who did not live near the area. When I asked the recruiter about this, they were very displeased and said their days started at 7:30 and if I was not ready to show up at that time I should not even consider the role. I was living close to campus since I was still in school at this time, and if I did work at National Securities I would obviously pick somewhere closer to live, but this simple fact/inconvenience did not seem to concern the recruiter. Any further attempt for me to reach them did not receive any correspondence. The unprofessionalism is the worst I have ever seen, and is likely a good snapshot into what this company is. They also scheduled on campus interviews at my school through our career portal, and only one other person than me out of 15 who got selected for the interview signed up for an interview time slot. Seems like people are avoiding this place like the plague, and rightfully so. There was no correspondence between them and us about being selected for the interview either. I went to my interview with good faith that something might be different, but the interviewer seemed like they were bothered to be there and it was a very unpleasant experience.
